Raising Achievement

As educators, we share the moral obligation to do not only what is best for our own schools but what is best for education.

Inspire TSA has capacity to work with individual schools, academies, local authorities or diocese in leading school improvement and ensuring that together we can achieve the best opportunities for success.

We have a strong track record of success in these partnerships and believe they are some of the most powerful ways to engage in school improvement.

What is an SLE?

SLEs work with other schools to help them raise achievement and improve outcomes for their students.

  • They are experienced teaching and support staff from all kinds of schools with a particular area of expertise to offer.
  • They have excellent interpersonal skills, are able to work sensitively and collaboratively with others and have a commitment to outreach work.
  • They understand what outstanding practice in their area of specialism looks like and can help others to achieve it in their own context.
  • Appointment, training and deployment as an SLE is also an opportunity for personal professional development.

What is an NLE?

NLEs are strong leaders who have experience of effectively supporting schools in challenging circumstances. NLEs work alongside teaching schools and other system leaders to provide high quality support to those who need it most.

  • They have a track record of strong school leadership with at least 3 years headship experience.
  • They have a track record of providing effective school-to-school support which has led to improved outcomes for pupils over a sustained period.

Meet our Leaders

Our National Leaders of Education (NLEs), Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) and Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) can be deployed individually to support schools but, increasingly, we are being asked to provide a package of interventions involving a multi-disciplinary team including not just subject-specific knowledge but also broader experience such as in leadership, curriculum design, pupil premium reviews, workforce planning and strategic financial planning.

We also offer a wide range of training, including leadership development at all levels.
